Is Michelle Obama Trans? No, she is not. Michelle Obama is an American attorney and the wife of former president Barack Obama.

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama was born on January 17, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois. Her mother was a white woman from Kansas and her father was a black man from Mississippi who met while attending the University of Hawaii. Michelle’s parents divorced when she was two years old and her mother married an Indonesian man who had also attended the University of Hawaii. Michelle grew up with her maternal grandparents as well as her half-siblings from both sides of her father’s family.

Michelle Obama began working for Tangent Global Strategies in 1995 before joining Sidley Austin LLP in 2004 where she worked until 2008 when she left to work for Public Allies Chicago. In 2009, she joined the University of Chicago Law School faculty as a visiting professor and became its first female dean in 2016.

She married her husband, Barack Obama, on October 3, 1992. They have two daughters (Malia Ann and Natasha) and two sons (Sasha and Malia).

Before 1993, Michelle Obama was the first lady of Illinois, the first lady of the United States, and an associate dean at the University of Chicago Law School.
